Ian is the founder and principal at Malaya CPA. He is passionate about helping clients spend more time in their business and less time doing boring things like accounting and tax.

Prior to founding Malaya CPA, he worked in real estate, retail, and architectural industries in various accounting roles and capacities. Ian also has extensive experience in public practice, articling with MNP LLP in Vancouver while leading complex audits and tax engagements for various private enterprise clients. This experience allows him to help clients with varying needs and challenges.

When not crunching numbers, you’ll see him in the outdoors, hiking, snowboarding, running, or playing sports.
